Welcome fellow Democrats of the Ninth Congressional District of North Carolina!

It is with great pleasure and honor to be able to serve as your Chairman for the next 2 years. I look forward to meeting many of you at our and the Democratic Party’s upcoming functions. I would like to continue with the goals and ideas set forth by Jack Flynn and our other previous chairmen of the 9^th have started.

Yes, we have a long way to go, but we are now in the game and are ready to play ball. Our State Party is serious of expanding Democratic values and ideals in all parts of the state and is supporting and leading the way in grassroots efforts to make the party stronger and more relevant to everyday citizens of our great State of North Carolina. It is here in the Ninth where we have the greatest potential to aid and accomplish our State Party’s goals.

We are asking you to become involved with your party and it starts here at this website; where we tell you how. It will be here where you can find out what is happening in our local area; from who the Democratic candidates are running for office to where the next party event is occurring. Hopefully, you will be able to share your views and concerns to just chatting with fellow Democrats here at this site.

Remember this Party is about you the hard working citizens of this great country, state and community in which we live. Without you there is no guidance and therefore no direction for our government to follow.

On tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans, he has flip-flopped and now sides with President Bush. He's the candidate of Washington lobbyists and represents the status quo.
